Young Victorian volcanoes: eruption hazards on the Web

Mt Eccles, Tower Hill and Mt Leura are three of the youngest eruptions in Victoria, and similar eruptions with maar craters, ash falls, scoria cones and long lava flows are possible.

A new risk and hazard map is the basis for a Web site which discusses hazards resulting from volcanic eruptions - damage and destruction, evacuation, diverting flows and controlling fires.
